Inline Fuel Filter 879884T for Mercury 30 35 40 50 60 HP 4-Stroke Outboard
Inline Fuel Filter 879884T for Mercury 30 35 40 50 60 HP 4-Stroke Outboard
Product Overview
Inline fuel filter for Mercury four-stroke outboards from 30 HP to 60 HP, supplied as 1 x filter. It replaces Mercury 35-879884T and 879884T, and crosses to Sierra 18-79965. The filter sits in the fuel line between the primer bulb and the engine, and catches water and grit before they reach the fuel pump and the injectors. On these 30 to 60 HP four-strokes the element is a service item: once it loads up, the engine starts leaning out under load, idles rough and loses top end, and on EFI models the debris that gets past it is what blocks an injector. Change it with the engine oil and the fuel lines stay clean.
