Product Overview
Maintenance kit for the Honda BF A-series four stroke outboards of 35 HP, 40 HP, 45 HP and 50 HP. It replaces Honda 06211-ZV5-505 and 06211ZV5505, and it packs the water pump repair kit, the oil filter, the fuel filter and the thermostat into one box with the gaskets, O-rings and cotter pin needed to fit them.
These four motors share the same block and the same service parts, so one kit covers the BF35A, BF40A, BF45A and BF50A. Doing the whole set in one job makes sense because the gearcase comes off for the water pump anyway, and the filters and thermostat are reached at the same service interval.
The impeller in the pump kit is 54.86 mm outside diameter, 17.04 mm hub and 19.95 mm high with 6 blades, a key drive and a neoprene body, the standard pump fitted to this engine family. The kit is what a dealer would fit at the first full service: cooling, fuel and oil filtration in one box.
