It replaces Mercury 8M0151470 and the water pump repair kit 8M0135821, it fits the 15 and 20 HP EFI four strokes from serial 0R833820 and above, and one kit ships at 560 g with packaging.
This is the annual service kit rather than a repair kit. On the 15 and 20 HP EFI four strokes the four systems in this box all land on the same interval, and buying them together saves ordering the small gaskets and seals separately.
The water pump repair kit inside is the most involved part. It is a complete kit of 10 components rather than a bare impeller: a new housing, a housing base, a plate, an insert cup, a key, two gaskets, a seal, an oil seal and the impeller itself. That matters, because a worn plate or a scored housing will chew a new impeller and the engine will still run hot.
The oil filter, the fuel filter and the thermostat come with it because they are on the same schedule. A thermostat that opens late looks exactly like a weak water pump from the helm, so replacing both removes the guesswork when the engine runs hot.
The drain gaskets in the box are the ones on the gear case drain and fill screws, so the gear lube change is covered too. Nothing that gets disturbed during the service has to be reused.
