Product Overview
Mercury Mariner outboard thermostat opening at 50°C / 120°F, replacing Mercury 14586, plus GLM 13120, Mallory 9-43014 and the Sears equivalent. It fits the 6 HP to 125 HP outboards from serial 0A197112 and up. The thermostat is supplied on its own, not as a kit, so the housing gasket should be ordered separately if it is being disturbed. A thermostat stuck open leaves the motor running cold and fouling plugs; stuck closed it overheats within minutes of starting.
