Product Overview
Non marking V style bow stop roller part for boat trailers, 2 inch (50.8 mm) diameter with a 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) mounting hole. One roller is supplied, moulded in polyurethane so it cushions the bow without leaving a black mark on the gelcoat.
The V profile centres the bow as the boat comes up onto the trailer, which is what stops the stem from settling off to one side on a cross wind or a steep ramp. The base is 2 inch by 2 inch (50.8 mm x 50.8 mm) and the span across the V is 4 inch (101.6 mm).
It is a universal fit rather than a model specific part: any trailer bracket built around a 3/8 inch shaft takes it, and the roller suits ski boats, aluminium hulls, pontoons, canoes, glass boats and kayaks. Check the bracket shaft and bolt size on the trailer before ordering, because bow stops are sold in several hole sizes.

Before You Buy
- Measure the bracket shaft, this roller is drilled for a 1/2 inch hole and suits a 3/8 inch shaft
- Check the old roller is 2 inch diameter and 4 inch span before ordering
- Check the bolt and nyloc nut are long enough for the bracket, a short bolt will work loose on the road
- Check the bracket for bending, a bent bracket puts the bow off centre however good the roller is
- Set the roller height so the bow eye sits just above it, too low and the bow rides up over the stop
- Check the roller after the first tow, a loose bow stop is the usual cause of a gelcoat chip
