Product Overview
Raw sea water pump repair kit 09-5000 for Volvo Penta gas sterndrive engines from 1999 to 2005. It fits crank driven water pumps on 3.0L, 4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L and 8.1L motors, comes in a 150 x 100 x 50 mm box at 378 g, and it carries the Johnson Pump impeller 21213660 with a 57 mm diameter and a 1.25 inch width.
This is a rebuild kit rather than an impeller swap: the seal with a 316 stainless spring and frame, a premium ABEC 3/C3 bearing, the retaining ring and the O rings all come in the box, with bearing retaining compound for the press fit.
Check the year before ordering. Pumps built from mid 2005 use the 09-6000 kit with impeller 21213664 and a 1.9 inch width, and the 09-5000 kit will not fit those.
