Serpentine belt for MerCruiser Alpha V6 and V8 sterndrive engines from 4.3 L to 5.7 L, built from 2000 with serial 0L619000 and up, supplied as 1 belt. It replaces 57-865615Q04, 57-865615004, 57-8638764, 57-862086, 57-8620861, 57-862086A1 and Sierra 18-15101. This is the belt for engines with power steering, standard cooling and the high-output alternator, so check those three items before ordering because the plain alternator layout uses a different length. A glazed or cracked belt will slip under load, and on these engines that means both the alternator and the sea water pump stop doing their job.
