Serpentine belt idler flat pulley for MerCruiser inboard and sterndrive engines from 4.3L to 8.1L, measuring 3-3/16 in (81 mm) and supplied with its bearing. It replaces 8M6500024, 865598, 818382 and 710-8M6500024. The pulley fits 4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L, 5.8L, 6.2L and 8.1L engines. A worn idler shows up as a chirp or squeal from the front of the engine, a belt that walks off the pulley, or visible play and roughness when the pulley is spun by hand. Replace the idler when the bearing is noisy or the belt surface is scored.
