Product Overview
Skeg guard protector part 27151 for Mercury, Suzuki and Yamaha outboards from 150 HP to 300 HP. It is made from 18 gauge marine grade 316 stainless steel with a mirror-polished finish and a 3 mm reinforced lower wear tab, and slides over the existing skeg to protect it from ramp drag and debris or to repair a broken skeg that still has 2 to 3 inches left. A drain hole at the bottom stops water collecting and corroding or freezing behind the guard.
