CDI switch box part for Mercury and Mariner outboards from 4 HP to 20 HP. It replaces Mercury 339-6222A1, 339-6222A4, 339-6222A6, 339-6222A8, 339-6222A10, 339-5287, 5287A1 to 5287A4 and 899883229, plus Sierra 18-5788, CDI 114-6222 and Mallory 9-25106. The switch box triggers the coils; a failed one shows up as no spark, a motor that runs on one cylinder only, or an engine that cuts out once warm.
