Thermostat kit rated 140 °F / 60 °C for Mercury MerCruiser 2.5L and 3.0L GM four-cylinder sterndrives built up to 1998, supplied as 1 x thermostat and 1 x cover gasket. It replaces 59078Q3, 59078T3, 59078T4, 59078, 59078A1 and 59078B, plus Sierra 18-3650 and 18-3550, GLM 13370, Mallory 9-43153 and the Chrysler / Force numbers F85068-2, F84068-2 and F85068. The kit fits the 120 HP 2.5L and 140 HP 3.0L engines. Fit it when the engine runs cold, overheats at idle or the housing has to come apart for a cooling system repair.
