Product Overview
Thermostat kit assembly with a 140 °F (60 °C) opening temperature for MerCruiser GM V-6 and V-8 sterndrive engines from 1983 and newer with standard cooling. It replaces 807252Q4, 807252T4, 807252T7 and 8M0089715, plus Sierra 18-3668 / 18-3668D and GLM 13390. The kit contains the thermostat, O-ring, four gaskets and the housing gasket needed to reseal the thermostat housing in one job. A thermostat stuck open shows up as a motor that never reaches normal temperature, while one stuck closed causes rapid overheating and a cold or empty exhaust. Fit the complete kit whenever the housing is opened.
