Product Overview
Water pump impeller part for Tohatsu, Nissan, Mercury and Mariner two stroke outboards from 2 HP to 6 HP, a 6 blade impeller at 33.75 mm outside diameter, 10.25 mm bore and 14.3 mm deep. It replaces 369-650211M and 369650211, Mercury 47-16154-3 and 47-8M0204676, and crosses to Sierra 18-3098. Kept in our United Kingdom local warehouse.
Small tenders and outboards that sit on a mooring through the winter are the hardest on this part. The impeller runs dry for a few seconds at every start, takes up salt and grit with the cooling water, and then sits folded in one position for months. A vane that has taken a permanent set will not straighten out in the spring, no matter how good the rest of the pump is.
Change it before the season rather than after a problem, and look at the pump housing while the lower unit is down. Vanes that come out with pieces missing have already sent rubber into the water jacket, and the block needs flushing before the new impeller goes in.
