Water pump impeller for Tohatsu Nissan 25 HP to 40 HP and Mercury Mariner 25 HP and 30 HP four stroke outboards, 1 x impeller per pack, 44.25 mm outside diameter, 17.20 mm inside diameter, 20.25 mm deep, 6 blades in neoprene, replacing 345-65021-0, 3R0-65021-0 and 47-161541.
This is the bare impeller, not the full kit, so it is the part to buy when the housing and wear plate are still clean and only the rubber star has taken a set. Check the cup for scoring before you decide, a scored cup will eat a new impeller in a season.
The 25 to 40 HP Tohatsu block is the one Mercury and Mariner sell as their 25 and 30 HP EFI four stroke, so the same impeller serves both number families. The 47-161541 Mercury number and the 345-65021-0 Tohatsu number describe the same part.

Before You Buy
- Check the number on your old impeller, this one replaces 345-65021-0 and 47-161541
- Check the cup and wear plate for scoring, a scored cup needs the full kit not the bare impeller
- Check the drive key and its slot in the shaft, a worn slot will spin a new impeller
- Check the telltale before you start, a blocked outlet looks like a failed pump
- Fit with a smear of glycerine or soap only, never grease or oil on the blades
- Fold the blades in the direction of rotation as the housing goes down
- Run on muffs and confirm a strong telltale, then recheck after the first trip
