Water Pump Impeller 334-65021-0 for Nissan Tohatsu 9.9 15 18 20 25 HP Outboard
Water Pump Impeller 334-65021-0 for Nissan Tohatsu 9.9 15 18 20 25 HP Outboard
Product Overview
Water pump impeller for Nissan and Tohatsu outboards from 9.9 HP to 25 HP, supplied as 1 impeller. It replaces Tohatsu 334-65021-0 (also listed as 334650210 and 334650210M), and crosses to Sierra 18-8921. The impeller measures 40.80 mm (1.61 in) outside diameter, 13.96 mm (0.55 in) at the hub, 23.35 mm (0.92 in) deep, with 8 blades and a keyed hub.
The Nissan and Tohatsu four-strokes in this range share one pump, and the impeller is the part that sets how much water reaches the powerhead at trolling speed. Vanes that have taken a set over a winter will pump at planing speed and starve the engine at idle, which is exactly when a small outboard is left running for hours. Check the telltale before every trip and replace the impeller on the interval in the manual.

Before You Buy
- Check the model code on the cowling, the NFS and NS prefixes separate the four-stroke from the two-stroke engines
- Compare the old impeller with the sizes above, 40.80 mm outside diameter is what identifies this impeller
- Lubricate with glycerine or liquid soap and turn the shaft clockwise as the housing goes down
- Check the wear plate and cup for scoring while the pump is apart, a grooved plate wears a new impeller fast
- Run on muffs and confirm a strong telltale before the boat leaves the ramp
- 30-Day Easy Returns
