Product Overview
Water pump impeller kit 47-8M0100526 for Mercury Marine outboards from 30HP up to 300HP, and for MerCruiser Alpha Generation 2 sterndrives from serial 494569. It fits the Bigfoot, three and four cylinder four stroke models listed below, comes in a 150 x 100 x 80 mm box at 360 g, and the Sierra equivalent is 18-3265.
This is the complete pump kit: impeller, face plate, four gasket types, two face seals with their fitting tool, both O rings, the drive key, three drain plug seals and three water tubes.
The face plate and the seals are what the impeller runs against. A kit that only swaps the rubber will pull air past a worn plate, which is why the plate and seals are in the box here.
