Water Pump Impeller Kit 17400-98652 for Suzuki DT4 DT5 Outboard 18-3260
Water Pump Impeller Kit 17400-98652 for Suzuki DT4 DT5 Outboard 18-3260
Product Overview
Water pump impeller kit for the Suzuki DT4 and DT5 two stroke outboards, replacing 17400-98650, 17400-98651 and 17400-98652 and crossing to Sierra 18-3260. The kit is supplied with the impeller, the stainless face plate, the housing gasket and the drive key.
It is the full rebuild set for a small Suzuki pump rather than the impeller alone. On the DT4 and DT5 the stainless plate under the impeller is what wears a groove into the pump body, and dropping a new impeller onto a scored plate is the usual reason a serviced motor still runs warm at tickover.
The kit covers the DT4 four horsepower from 1985 to 1998 and the DT5 five horsepower from 1999 to 2002, which are the same pump on both motors. Below that, the DT2 and DT3 use a smaller pump and this kit does not fit them.
