Product Overview
Impeller kit for the water pump on Yamaha 4 HP, 5 HP and 6 HP four stroke outboards, containing the rotor, the drive pin and the housing gasket as one set. The numbers it covers are 6E0-44352-00, F4-03060000 and 44352-003 on the Yamaha side, 47-96305M under Mercury Mariner, and Sierra 18-3073, Mallory 9-45611 and CEF 500325 as aftermarket cross references. It serves the F4A, F4B, F5A and F6C, plus the Parsun F4BMS, F4BML, F5BMS and F5BML. Shipped from our Germany local warehouse.
Small four strokes put the pump inside the gearcase, above the propeller shaft, which means the lower unit comes down for a job this size. Since the gearcase is already off, the drive pin and gasket get renewed at the same time; leaving the old pin in place is what wears a new hub out within a season.
The failure pattern is predictable: the tell-tale gets lazy at idle first, then the engine starts running warm while trolling, and by the time the vanes are visibly cracked the pump has been dry running for a while. Change the set on the service interval, not on the symptom.
