Complete water pump kit for Yamaha and Mariner outboards from 4 HP to 6 HP, replacing Yamaha 6E0-W0078-A2, 6E0-W0078-A2-00, 6E0-W0078-02-00, 6E0-W0078-01-00, 68D-W0078-00 and 68D-WG078-00, and Mercury Mariner 47-96305M, 46-810952M, 46-810953M and 46-810954M, with Sierra 18-3073 as the cross reference.
This is the whole pump, not the rubber alone. The kit carries the housing 6E0-44311-00, the stainless insert cup 6E0-44322-02, the wear plate 6E0-44323-00 and the impeller 6E0-44352-00, so a pump that has been run dry to the point of a scored housing gets rebuilt in one go.
It covers the Yamaha two stroke 4 HP from 1984 to 1999 and 5 HP from 1984 to 2002, the four stroke 4 HP from 2000 to 2005 and the F6, plus the Mariner 4AC on the 6E0 serial, the 4AS on 6E1, the 5C on 6E3 and the 5CS on 6E4.

Before You Buy
- Check the serial code on the Mariner bracket, 6E0, 6E1, 6E3 and 6E4 are all covered but the earlier 6E9 is not
- Check the housing that comes off your motor against the new one, the round and square top housings are different
- Check the driveshaft for a worn key slot or a groove under the seal, either will finish a new impeller quickly
- Clean the mating faces before fitting the new gasket, old gasket left on shifts the housing and loses pressure
- Grease the cup and fold the impeller blades in the direction of rotation as it goes on
- Torque the four bolts evenly and check the telltale at idle before the first trip
