It replaces Yamaha 6E0-W0078-A2, 6E0-W0078-A2-00, 6E0-W0078-02-00, 6E0-W0078-01-00, 68D-W0078-00 and 68D-WG078-00, Mercury Mariner 47-96305M, 46-96305M, 46-810952M, 46-810953M and 46-810954M, and crosses to Sierra 18-3073. The kit carries every part of the pump that wears: the impeller 6E0-44352-00 (44352), the stainless insert cup 6E0-44322-02 (44322), the wear plate 6E0-44323-00 (44323), the housing 6E0-44311-00, the gasket, the rubber damper, the dowel pin and the four bolts.
That matters on an Australian tinny that is run up a sand ramp. A pump that has swallowed grit loses its cup and plate long before the impeller looks tired, and fitting a new impeller into a scored housing simply transfers the damage to the new rubber. This kit replaces the whole wet end in one sitting.
