Product Overview
Water pump impeller with key, a direct replacement part for Suzuki DT40, DT55, DT60 and DT65 two stroke outboards from 50 HP to 65 HP. It replaces Suzuki 17461-94700, 17461-94701, 17461-95200 and 17461-95201, and crosses to CEF 500361, Sierra 18-3094 and Mallory 9-45501. The impeller is 67.5 mm outside diameter, 19.5 mm tall, with 6 blades.
This is the rubber impeller inside the water pump on the lower unit, and the key that locks it to the driveshaft. The key is in the box because the old one usually stays behind in the shaft slot or drops into the housing when the impeller comes off.
The impeller is neoprene with a hardened nylon hub. That combination holds its shape at low speeds, where these two strokes spend most of their life, and still grips the shaft at full throttle.
DT40 and DT60 are the 1983 models. DT55 and DT65 run from 1985 to 1997. Check the model and year on the cowling before ordering.
