Water pump impeller kit part with drive pins for Yamaha and Mariner 2 HP two stroke outboards, replacing 646-44352-01 and 646-44352-00 and crossing to Sierra 18-3072. It is supplied as 1 x impeller and 2 x drive pins.
The impeller measures 47.5 mm outside diameter, 10.88 mm at the shaft and 13.85 mm high, with 6 neoprene blades on a key drive. The two pins are the parts that actually drive the impeller, and they are what turns a small impeller kit into a usable one when the old pins come out worn or bent.
It fits the Yamaha 2A and 2B from 1984 to 2002, identified by a serial number starting with 646 or 6A1, and the Yamaha built Mariner 2 HP of the same period. These are the smallest motors in the range, so the pump is easy to reach once the lower unit is down.

- Measure the old impeller at 47.5 mm outside and 13.85 mm high
- Check the old pins for wear, a flattened pin lets the impeller slip on the shaft

- Lubricate the impeller with glycerine and turn the shaft by hand to set the blade direction
