Water pump rebuild kit 389133 for Johnson and Evinrude 50HP and 55HP outboards, the complete pump with housing, cups, wear plate and impeller. It fits the 1984 to 1994 two and three cylinder loop charged motors with the small gearcase, replaces 387326, 387217 and 777812, crosses to Sierra 18-3325, and it weighs 570 g packed.
This is the rebuild kit, not the impeller alone: it includes the 384087 pump housing, both 320775 and 320776 cups, the 320981 wear plate and the 377230 impeller, plus the seals, grommets, screws and key that go with them.
Use it when the pump has been run dry or the housing is scored. The plastic wedge key impeller pumps only work properly against an unworn cup, and once the cup is scored the tell tale weakens even with a new impeller.
