Complete water pump repair kit for Johnson and Evinrude 14 HP to 55 HP outboards, supplied as 1 x impeller, 1 x insert cup, 1 x wear plate, 1 x housing, 1 x grommet, 1 x key, 2 x gaskets, 2 x O-rings and 4 x bolts with washers — everything the pump needs in one box. It replaces OMC 0395270, 0395271, 0777809, 0394393, 0394394 and 0391390, and cross-references Sierra 18-3401, GLM 12060 and Mallory 9-48212. The impeller measures 51.2 mm outside diameter, 15.94 mm high with a 19.05 mm bore. The kit covers the 14 to 55 HP crossflow engines listed below. Changing the impeller alone on a worn pump leaves a scored cup and plate behind, which chews the new impeller up within a season — this kit renews the whole pumping chamber.

• Verify your outboard model or serial number before ordering — the small crossflow gearcases changed pump parts across the years
• Fit the key with the new impeller, and lubricate the impeller with soapy water or glycerine — never fit it dry
• Check the driveshaft for wear under the impeller and the gearcase seals while the unit is apart
• Renew the gear oil at the same time, since you have already drained and opened the gearcase
• Do not run the engine dry, even briefly — a few seconds without water destroys a new impeller
