Water pump major repair kit for the Sherwood 23974 pump, built around the 17000K impeller. It fits the P1711 up to the P1731F pumps, and it ships as one complete kit in a 160 mm x 120 mm x 90 mm box at 1380 g.
The impeller is 84 mm outside, 20 mm inside and 73 mm deep, with twelve neoprene blades on a key drive shaft. One end is threaded so a puller can draw it out of the housing, which is worth knowing before the first attempt with a screwdriver.
This is a major kit rather than an impeller box: cam and screw, end cover, wear plate, two bearings, lip seal, gasket, O rings, snap rings and washers. A Sherwood pump that has been run with a worn cam or a scored cover will ruin a new impeller, so the cam and the plate are the parts that decide whether the repair lasts.
